Day 1. Broome

Arrive in Broome and be transferred to the iconic Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa, where you will enjoy the evening at leisure.

    Day 2. Gibb River Road, Tunnel Creek, Windjana Gorge

    Your day starts with a visit to the fascinating Boab Prison Tree. Journey along the Gibb River to Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek. Later, continue to Fitzroy Crossing.

    Day 3. Geikie Gorge, Purnululu National Park

    Travel to Geikie Gorge National Park and explore magnificent Darngku Geikie Gorge. Head to Halls Creek, before arriving at Purnululu National Park. Later, settle into the tranquil Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge and enjoy a sensational dinner here.

    Day 4. Purnululu National Park, Piccaninny Creek, Cathedral Gorge

    Explore the magic of Purnululu for yourself and discover the depth of the Bungle Bungle Range. Walk along Piccaninny Creek, a winding gorge within the Bungle Bungle domes. Your next stop is the natural amphitheater of Cathedral Gorge, a spacious cavern where the acoustics are astounding. Marvel at the majestic beehive domes as your guide brings the natural history of the range to life. You may like to experience an optional scenic helicopter flight over the domes - own expense. This evening, enjoy drinks as the sun sets over the striking domes of the Bungle Bungle Range.

    Day 5. Echidna Chasm, Kununurra

    Enjoy a spectacular hike to Echidna Chasm. Afterwards, arrive in Kununurra.

    Day 6. Ord River, Kununurra, El Questro Wilderness Park

    Travel to the majestic Lake Argyle and join a spectacular wildlife cruise on the mighty Ord River. From modern shaded vessels, discover a fascinating ecological system that has developed from the damming of the Ord River at two locations to create an area rich in wildlife, flora and undeniable beauty. Journey to the incredible El Questro Wilderness Park.

    Day 7. Emma Gorge, Home Valley Station

    Enjoy a hike to Emma Gorge, where you can indulge in a refreshing swim beneath the towering droplet waterfall. Cross the Pentecost River into Home Valley Station, an immense cattle property. Discover its spellbinding scenery, including the imposing yet strikingly beautiful backdrop of the majestic Cockburn Range. Head to a superb viewing area as you savour this inspirational sensational setting with sunset drinks, as you gaze out to the ever-changing colours of the Cockburn Range.

    Day 8. Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Gibb River Road

    At beautiful Manning Gorge, you’ll enjoy lunch in the shade of paperbark trees. Continue to Galvans Gorge, where a short walk leads to a picturesque waterhole. Inspect the Wandjina rock art on the gorge walls and take a leisurely swim. Later, arrive at Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge for dinner.

    Day 9. Bell Gorge, Hiking and Swimming

    Travel to Bell Gorge, where stunning cliffs surround a series of tiered waterholes. Should you be feeling energetic, you may take the opportunity to hike to the lower pool of the gorge and enjoy a dip below the cascading waterfall or alternatively, enjoy a spot of bird-watching.

    Day 10. Bell Gorge, Derby, Depart Broome

    Travel into the King Leopold Range Conservation Park, then travel to Derby, where you will visit the Mowanjum Art and Culture Centre. Return to Broome, and arrive at the iconic Cable Beach Club and Resort.

    Day 11. Broome, Embark Cruise

    After a morning at leisure in Broome, you will be transferred to the Coral Discoverer, specifically designed for the Kimberley. Set sail on your amazing discovery of the Kimberley coast as you enjoy the Captain’s Welcome Cocktails. Afterwards, be treated to a delicious dinner as you cruise toward the Lacepede Islands.

    Day 12. Lacepede Islands

    Cruise through beautiful Pender Bay to the secluded Lacepede Islands, home to an abundance of marine birdlife and the site of one of the most significant Green Turtle breeding grounds in Australia. With a spectacular platform reef, you can experience the thrill of nature first hand. Head back to the ship for a presentation into the intriguing and exhilarating Kimberley coast before enjoying a tantalising dinner on board later in the evening.

    Day 13. Buccaneer Archipelago, Talbot Bay, Horizontal Falls

    Enjoy the idyllic white sands of Silica Beach before heading out through the Buccaneer Archipelago towards stunning Talbot Bay. Experience the dramatic Horizontal Falls aboard an exhilarating Zodiac ride, described by Sir David Attenborough as “one of the greatest natural wonders of the world.”A real highlight of your journey, witness the intense 12-metre tidal currents rushing through two narrow coastal gorges.

    Day 14. Ruby Falls, Raft Point

    Cool off with a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the soothing and secluded Ruby Falls of Red Cone Creek. Back on board, you will travel through the stunning Kuri Bay to Raft Point. Located at the southern entrance to Doubtful Bay, Raft Point is one of the most spectacular anchorages in the Kimberley. Board the Xplorer excursion vessel to discover the region’s mysterious Wandjina rock art and the intriguing Bradshaw (Gwion Gwion) paintings.

    Day 15. Doubtful Bay, Montgomery Reef

    At dramatic Doubtful Bay, cliffs rise from the sea as waterfalls cascade from above, plunging into the ocean. Embark on an unforgettable adventure today as the magnificent Montgomery Reef ‘rises’ out of the ocean as the tidal waters cascade down into the surrounding deep channels. View the abundant marine life of this natural phenomenon, including giant clams, reef sharks, turtles, rays and sea snakes.

    Day 16. Prince Regent River, King Cascades

    Board your Xplorer vessel and get up close to the terraced King Cascades. Cruise up Prince Regent River to Camp Creek, where you will stop to enjoy some refreshments. Indulge in a swim before heading back to the ship for dinner later this evening.

    Day 17. Careening Bay, Bigge Island

    Travel to Careening Bay and visit the iconic double-trunked boab tree bearing the engraving ‘HMC Mermaid – 1820’. Carved by one of the crew, the inscription commemorates the site where the ship was grounded and repaired. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, explore the stunning rock formations and ancient Indigenous art of Bigge Island.

    Day 18. Hathaway’s Hideaway, Mitchell Falls, Beach Barbecue

    Anchor in Winyalken Bay and head to the winding maze of Hathaway’s Hideaway. Later, perhaps take an optional helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls (own expense). Later this evening, indulge in a gourmet barbecue on the beach overlooking the Indian Ocean.

    Day 19. Vansittart Bay, Jar Island

    Head out across the sand flats of Vansittart Bay to view the wreckage of a US Air Force DC3 plane. Later, guest lecturers will guide you through the Indigenous art of Jar Island.

    Day 20. King George River and Falls

    Explore Tranquil Bay with a beach stroll, then discover gorges carved from the earth by the force of the mighty King George River as you cruise up to the base of the tallest waterfall in Western Australia.
